Royal Steeple Chase is a very astonishing game, published in 1939 by Miro Company in France. 4 horses compete on a track of 21 spaces, with hedges and rivers. The players receive cards which indicate two actions. They use these to bid on the horse of their choice. They can then buy better cards at auction. The money from the bids is shared equally between all the players, and then the race takes place. Each player in turn plays a card and carries out its two actions in the preferred order. The horses which win and place second award points to their owners. If no horse finishes, the players who did not have a horse gain points.
