Blitzkrieg Checked: The Battle of Gembloux: May 14-15, 1940, is an introductory level game of the battle between the French Armed forces and Germany’s Wehrmacht on May 14th and 15th, 1940. The Germans launched Operation Yellow, the invasion of France and the Low Countries, on May 10, 1940. The German vanguard of General Hoepner's XVI Coprs ran head-on into the defending French First Army led by General Rene Prioux at the "Gembloux Gap".
